Why builders choose a wedge
A wedge box can match sloped rear seats or awkward hatch geometry better than a simple rectangular cabinet. That can help preserve space while still reaching the target enclosure volume.
Where mistakes happen
- Forgetting that top depth and bottom depth change usable internal volume.
- Assuming the wedge shape automatically fits the vehicle better without measuring the actual contact points.
- Ignoring driver depth or port clearance when the shallow side gets too tight.
